There's a reason we didn't hire a big name, Bundy. Stop crying and give your coach a chance. You gave Stansbury about ten of them.
Enlighten me
I have given Ray a chance, and will continue to, but unless he recruits better than a 2 star 5'10PG from Little Rock and a JUCO SF who averaged 6ppg a game as a freshman.
Ray also hasn't reached out to MSU alums and former players like I thought he would

Ole Miss beat Montevallo 77-62 and here are some of my thoughts.
Jarvis Summers-In 25 minutes he only attempted one shot and made a 3.He didn't look for his shot much mainly looking to dish to his teammates and it showed with 7 assits. His assist will benefit more from having a better shooting team around him.Finished the night with 5 points.
Marshall Henderson-In 28 minutes he went for 19 points, 6-15 shooting from the floor,5-12 from 3,5 assist, and 5 rebounds.Marshall will be one of the best shooters in the SEC this season.Last year National Juco Player of The Year has range beyond 30 feet and has the green light at all times.
Nick Williams-In 20 minutes he had 8 points on 3-8 shooting knocking down 2 3's.
Murphy Holloway-In 24 minutes went for 12 points with six boards.Murph's best moment in the game was when he hit a long 3 that he has been practicing on all summer. If he can hit the outside shot consistancy that's huge.
Aaron Jones-In 13 mintues he had 3 points and 3 rebounds.Kennedy mention him as one of the most improved players in the SEC.
Reggie Buckner-In 27 minutes he goes for 9 points 8 rebounds and 3 block shots.Typical kinda of night from Buckner.
Snoop White-In 19 minutes he goes for 6 points and 2 assist.Snoop is a slasher that looks like he has a chance to be the six man on this team.
Anthony Perez-In 16 minutes the 6'9 Freshman from Venezuela went for 7 points and had 5 rebounds. He is a 6'9 guard with a nice shot and really can do it all.The one area he seems to struggle with is his strength. He is a NBA talent that kneeds to add muscle to his frame.
Martavious Newby-In 15 minutes the freshman went for 5 points and had 2 assist. He might be the best defender on the team.He is very athletic guard that is still very raw.

Cats have the regular season coming up on Friday against Maryland and then Duke.
Exhibitions:
UK played Northwood (Fla) in Rupp on November 1st, winning 93-61.
Top Performer: Archie Goodwin. 22 points, 4 rebs, 3 blocks.
UK played Transylvania on November 5th and won 74-28.
Top Performer: Julius Mays. 14 points and 5 assists, 4-8 from behind the arc.
The Cats looked particularly sloppy in the first exhibition but Calipari ran through 16 different lineup combinations so that may have been part of it. The sloppiness continued a bit into the first half of the Transy game but they finished really strong in that second half. Willie Cauley-Stein will be the biggest surprise of the season, especially if Noel gets pressure on the opposite block. The kid flat out hustles and is particularly good when he flashes to the top of the key on defense (had I believe 4 steals there the other night for fast breaks). Noel looked as good in the 2nd half of the Transy game as he has to this point. Just a strong, strong kid. I don't like the Davis comparisions because their game is a bit different. Noel brings a bit more sheer power to the post and has great hands.
As far as the guards, I've been most impressed with Wright State transfer Julius Mays. He's clearly the vet on the floor and acts like it. You can tell the rest of the guys look up to him and are willing to follow him. I absolutely love his game though. Just a textbook, hard nosed, guard who can shoot the ball from behind the arc. Goodwin has flashes (and did really well in the first exhibition) but he's going to have to get more assertive (and I think he will). Harrow probably has the most work to do. He's not bad by any means but he has to get more vocal. I actually think our lineup is better when he's coming off the bench and either Mays/Goodwin splitting time at point. Poythress has also shown flashes of a stout scoring game but is another guy that has to get a little more assertive.
Wiltjer looks stronger from last season but seems a bit out of sorts. Hopefully he can reel it in or he's likely to lose his spot. Hood has played some off the bench and is pretty rusty.
All in all they're about where I thought they would be at this point. And we'll find out real early how they'll compare to one of the better teams in the country in Duke.
Injuries: Julius Mays tweaked his knee in the Transy game but should be fine for Friday. Twany Beckham has been battling back spasms and has been sitting out.

Looks like nothing changed from his time at Alabama then.

I hope you aren't dogging on 5'10" PGs. You'll get to see a couple good ones from Mizzou this year.
