Yeah, that is overall an embarrassing stat for the conference

We played a team that wins 8+ and goes to a bowl basically every season. It's about as non-embarrassing a G6 team as you can schedule.

No. What it shows is teams that were stuck in ancient offenses finally changed.

WKU is not a bad G5 school. Won 8 games and a bowl game last season.

People need to wake up to the fact that
With NIL, The talent disparity between SEC schools and non-power 4 conference schools is beyond massive. It use to be a large disparity, now it’s much greater. Any decent player who plays for one of these teams gets poached by SEC and Big 10 schools.

It’s an absolute joke for SEC schools to be scheduling any non-power 4 conference school now.

Vols sat the starts early and often. They only let Nico play for a half.

8 guys had carries
14 guys had receptions
3 QBs played
27 guys made tackles

In a very vanilla showing the Vols emptied the bench of guys that wanted to play while resting the starters.

We have 37 teams in this conference.

Just sheer Law of Averages puts us in contention.

I wouldn't go there. Start with Auburn playing Alabama A&M. HBCUs, outside a few (North Carolina A&T, for example), are more or less D2.
