SEC fans, what would y'all do if Alleva is fired and Wade is retained?

Besides continue your melt, of course.

Just curious.

I'd be pretty pumped about all the future fun we'd have with the coming NCAA investigation.

Probably the same if Wade was fired and Alleva was retained. Or the same thing if nothing happened at all.

This

LSU's Athletic Department would be the laughing stock of the NCAA. Might as well name all tRantards collectively as AD at that point.

They haven't figured that out yet.

You’re onto something here. Could the AD reorganize as an ESOP? Or perhaps an anarcho-syndicalist commune.

Laugh since they would have fired the wrong person.

Toast to a finally good decision by the administration. Alleva is a POS and needs to go.

I would go “That’s surprising” and then go about my day.

Personally I don't wish anything bad for LSU in athletics or otherwise. LSU has had virtually nothing to do with our failures under Sumlin or in any other sport, bad coaching hires, etc...

LSU fans are passionate. Certainly not a negative in my book. I would prefer that LSU elevate and we catch up. Doesn't mean a whole lot if LSU athletics falls down and we catch up that way. False progress is all that would be.

Haha, yea Alleva needs fired for sure just not for this reason...mostly the good old fashion lack of competence reason.

What's that got to do with Wade being caught on a wiretap talking about offering extra benefits to a recruit?

(first off, find the 'extra benefits' smoking gun in the transcript, please)

Anyway, almost everything. Joe screws up every PR moment. Every single one.

Perhaps his most defining moment in all of the CWW saga was Alleva's comments after the Yale win in the first round. They pretty much tell you all you need to know about Joe Alleva, where his allegiance lies (not LSU), and how emotionally shallow he is. It is utterly embarrassing having him represent LSU.

Let's revisit his interview....

Keep in mind LSU had just won their first NCAAT game in a decade. The fans and players are celebrating. Then a blog site reporter decides to ask Alleva about CWW.

quote:

“I don’t know how deep this goes,” Alleva told Stadium after the win. “That’s the problem, and Will’s refused to talk to us. That’s the hardest part for me.”

“I wish he’d come in and just tell the truth,” he added. “Just tell me what went on. I can handle the truth even if it’s bad.”

That asshat couldn't resist taking a swipe at CWW and stroking his own ego. The proper thing to do is to say the moment is about the kids and offer no further comment. Any amateur knows this. But, not our AD

And for the record, Joe Alleva can't handle the truth, good or bad, if someone is writing mean stuff in the media. Ask Duke lacrosse.
