No mad, just realistic. It's usually SEC fans whining about not getting enough teams in or a specific team in and saying whoa is me for our schedule. Your schedules are easier and leave you many more easy holes and that special FCS game before your rivalry game. I have no problem with SEC having more teams in the playoff, if the conditions are the same. SEC has an inherent advantage guaranteeing half the conference 1 less loss than the Big 10 and scheduling weak non-conference schedules

Why exactly is a fan of an ACC team hanging around on a SEC message board?

It's not like Texas and OU fans where they were going to join the SEC. At no point will a private school with no fans showing up at games be invited into the SEC. There's literally no reason for you to be here.

Maybe you should try to find an ACC or even a Big 10 message board to hang out on?

Even if he is, why is Bucki here even?

This is a SEC message board. If you think the football in another conference is better, shouldn't you be hanging out on their message boards to talk about that?

Dude...

You've been chugging the B1G sauce, apparently...

The B1G plays the equivalent of an 8 team SEC schedule every year.

Ohio State just beat the supposedly #5 team in the country by 20+. But Indiana was #5 because...

They played nobody.

And how did Indiana get to #5? By feasting on cupcakes like Mich St, Maryland, Northwestern, UCLA in addition to FIU, W. Illinois, and Charlotte

Michigan is about to play Ohio State next week. And who did they play? Northwestern which is the equivalent of Wofford, who South Carolina played.

Look at Penn State. They played 2 cupcakes early. And then played their 3rd and 4th cupcakes in Purdue and UCLA.

Look at Oregon. They have feasted on cupcakes all season. Oregon St, UCLA, Michigan St, Purdue, Maryland.

It's obvious that the top 3 or 4 in the B1G who are competitive are feasting on cupcakes all season.

So GTF outta here with this BS about the SEC's supposed advantage

You could throw a dart at a dart board with UGA, Alabama, Ole Miss and Tennessee (original SEC teams), ATM and Texas on it and take whichever one you hit and put them in a tournament with Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana, Penn State and any of the rest of the Big10, plus Notre Dame, and nobody would be surprised if the SEC team beat them all. If any of them played UGAs, UFs or South Carolina’s schedule they’d have at least 2 losses. The only team in the SEC with a comparable easy schedule as the toughest schedule in the big10 is Texas. It will show in the CFP. Just like it does every year.

I like watching SEC games, but many of you a middle school delusional. People say that the SEC eats each other up. That's what conferences do and the Big 10 is probably the biggest example. They play 9 conference games, so half the conference gets an extra loss. If they only played 8, how many teams would be 9-2 or 8-3. They all play another power 4 team and you hardly see FCS teams (like Mercer). I would certainly take Nebraska over Oklahoma any day. Many of these problems would go away if the SEC scheduled 9 conference games and 1 extra power 4 team. the main reason for this easier scheduling is to get more teams bowl eligible and better chance at more playoff spots. I suggest you really take a look at how some of the ranked SEC teams really challenged themselves this year. GA, SC seem to have the hardest. Bama played a tougher conference schedule, but non-conf was easy + Mercer. Texas played nobody, Missouri played a weak schedule and got destroyed twice. Ole Miss had an easy schedule and look who they lost to and they're whining. GA and Bama have been the toast of the town for several years and Ohio St. with recently MI have been in the top tier. Now Oregon is here. If I were the Big 10, I would reschedule down to 8 conference games and add FCS teams to the schedule and watch how many teams get ranked higher than they should. This playing away in the SEC is no harder than the road environments in the Big 10. Make the Std. to play 9 conference games and 1 other Power 4 and watch how the rankings shake out more realistic. Also, if ND wants to stay independent, they should play 10 Power 4 teams and no FCS games. They can't get 1 of the top 4 seeds, so they will always be at a disadvantage in the playoffs.

SoS Texas is in the 30s while Indiana is in the 100s. Will change with them playing OSU but the point is Texas SoS is not nearly as bad as team SEC likes to whine about.

Dude...

It's the Texas people who are crying and whining. I mean come on. You played 4 ranked teams this year. And the only team that is still ranked is the one that beat you! Michigan, Oklahoma, & Vandy? gone

So, as I'm sure your mommy would say, enjoy the overrated ranking and don't worry about what those other people are saying. Just play nice and don't run with scissors!

Not a single Texas fan has whined about anything. I (and a lot of alums) simply find it funny that team sec pumped its chest for years about how great TOP TO BOTTOM the conference is when in reality all the sec whiners are proving that's not the case. Also funny, this wouldn't even be a discussion if Bama, ole miss, tenn, sc, etc wouldnt have lost against the same teams we beat that are supposed push overs.

Texas fans aren’t whining we are going to the playoffs regardless of next Saturdays outcome and have a chance to avenge our only loss and win back to back conference championships.

Feeling pretty good right about now.

Also South Carolina fan wants to talk about schedules lol. The part your university does control (given the sec makes conference schedules) you scheduled Akron, old dominion, and wofford lol. Get out of here with your finger pointing at Texas schedule. Maybe schedule Ohio state (like we play next year) or notre dame (like we play in a few years) to get a quality win to boost your resume rather than loading up on cupcakes…….

You know how those little yippy dogs will nip at your heel and bark their heads off at you... act all scary... but in the end, they are of no real consequence? Because they are... in the scheme of things... nothing?

That's the Big 10.. and the ACC... that little yippy dog that just won't shut up, but can't hurt you... so you leave it alone. You could squash it if you wished... but it isn't worth the effort. That... sums up the Big 10 and the ACC in a nutshell.

That's exactly what you're doing right now!!! You and your "alum" buddies are butt hurt about no one respecting your supposed "dominance" over the vaunted SEC.

quote:

Texas fans aren’t whining

And here you go whining again. You remind me of some little kid standing there pissed off because nobody in the neighborhood thinks his new bike is the greatest thing ever.

Dude, you earn respect. You don't shoot your mouth off about how great you are when you haven't really done anything.

South Carolina fan wants to talk about schedules

Yes, let's talk about schedules. You played an Out of Conference schedule that included "tough guys" like Colorado State, UT San Antonio, and UL-Monroe. And let's look at teams Texas beat. Miss State who doesn't have a pulse this year. Oklahoma? Who won't sniff a bowl. Vandy, Kentucky, & Arkansas? You beat Florida before they figured out that Lagway was a baller.

This is the problem with Texas fans. They're always worried about what everybody else is thinking about them and then they shoot their mouths off. Be content to be in this prestigious conference because you don't, won't, and never will run things like you did in the Big 12. Remember, the SEC did Texas a favor by "inviting" them to join. It wasn't the other way around.

Just STFU, let the teams play, and then be proud of your team if/when they win.
