SEC expand speculation

Oklahoma and Oklahoma St. to the SEC. Their conference is dead and they wont leave without each other. 'Bama and Aubie to the east and a 9 game conference schedule.

They bring in little to no TV money and will only dilute what each member now gets. Expansion if it happens will happen in the east where there are more big TV markets (NC and VA/Wash DC).

Because you will get enough abuse for this, I will give my answer IMHO.
No, I don't want to keep adding teams that LSU would have to compete with in recruiting one of our primary territories (i.e. Texas)

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't Oklahoma and Texas also married at the hip? I mean the red river rivalry is a bigger game and event than Bedlam. So you are going to leave Texas out of that move, I don't see it.

$$$, so not going to happen...Expansion will cause a renegotiation of TV contracts, which are in decline. So SEC would flirt with losing money and diluting current profit. Could be wrong, but heard something like this discussed with some talking heads..
