And this is why the SEC may be watching someone else hoist the trophy. The SEC doesn’t have a team in the top 10 for defense. For some reason they went BIG 12 style of football and can’t stop anyone.

It’s possible. Glad to see someone making sure the SEC ego’s stay in check. Thank you for your service.

If you can find some flaws with Notre Dame and Big 10 schools, be sure to point them out on their boards.

That would be helpful to them as well.

Your entire shite talking is that Alabama is bad now because they won a playoff game, finished in the Top 8 and now appears to clearly be a Top 5 team again. As Auburn moves towards missing a bowl for the........4th straight year? 5th? Infinite sadness.

You sure are in a fit. This is a thread about SEC defensive rankings.

I would say it’s not your best look, but hiding for 9 months took the cake.

101. South Carolina - 26.80
it's way worse when you gauge FBS competition - especially the pass defense - but ppg allowed is 31.3 -

12 pass TD allowed - only Old Dominion has allowed more (13) - and Carolina is allowing opposing QB to complete 70% of passes -

16 total TD allowed and 1 FG - 125 points in 4 FBS games -

the Red Zone defense is abysmal across the board - 9 TD 2 FG in 11 RZA - meaning if you can get it in you're gonna score - with a TD% of over 81 - which is 126th nationally - also - alarmingly - Georgia in 125th in RZ Defense - 8 TD 1 FG in 10 RZA -

This guy is posting data not adjusted for opponent.

Here’s the efficiency defensive scoring rankings:
1: UGA
15: Bama
3: LSU
5: Texas
20: TN
12: MIZ
52: UF
6: OU
66: MSU
72: OM
66: USCe
57: VAN
17: AU

That’s 7 defenses in the top 20.

UGA's defense hasn't been tested.

They should get tested this weekend. Keep Bama from getting 30, and you have a legit top 5 defense

The sad thing would be disappearing for 9 months after being so wrong.

Didn't you have a really stupid post a few years back that kept getting bumped and eventually "someone" got it taken down? Or was that someone else?

I predict the Natty winner will be one of three teams - UGA, Indiana, or Miami and I don’t think anyone else has a chance. Bama would be my 4th right now

Indiana and Miami have schedules where they won't have been tested at all until they make the playoffs. Indiana probably rolls because their schedule is truly bad. Miami has Cristobal as a coach so he will more than likely coach them to a loss they have no business losing.

Bama, OM, BYU, Ohio St, and a few other teams have legit chances to win a title if they can make the playoff.

We are just past the quarter pole. Still a lot of ball to be played to be making such proclamations.
