Mostly agree with 1, 2, 3, and 4. But on #3, Alleva said Monday "wasn't really discussed."
As for 5, I don't think Foley or UF care what the solution is as long as it ends up being played at home and/or UF gets the money would have gotten from playing at home. Also "every other solution has been declined by them." I'm not sure that can be labelled fact. Only the past solutions have been declined and again, the commissioner of the SEC had final say on those.

Neither team will be forced to move a game, there are no rules the SEC can enforce that will make either team move a game. The simplest solution is to have Florida travel to BR on Nov 19th.

Why is it okay for Florida to refuse multiple options, but when LSU refuses one, they're being unreasonable?
All of the options presented (or demanded) by LSU were within 48 hours of what was expected to be a catastrophic event. Florida AD quite reasonably said this is not the weekend to play a game in Florida. Now they are simply asking LSU to show some flexibility in rescheduling. At this point, LSU is the unreasonable party

Because only the delusional will blame a school for a natural disaster it couldn't control. Lsu will be forced to move their game just like UF will.
Sankey didn't have the balls to force UF to host the damn game at any point during that beautiful weekend in Gainesville.

Would the game have been able to have been played as scheduled if the SEC hadn't stepped in to make a decision as Thursday?
If UF had told them that they would wait until Saturday morning to make a decision about playing Monday night, the SEC office would have been silent on the matter.

My school had the game scheduled all week. They weren't the ones panicked on Monday trying to rush a decision.

Never said LSU was being unreasonable.

but they could not make the trip with such short notice and a hurricane potentially affecting their travel. Last year, South Carolina began planning Sunday to play the upcoming Saturday in Baton Rouge instead of Columbia, S.C. So that comparison is apples to oranges.
Wrong....the South Carolina game was moved on the Wednesday before.
A better example would be 10 years ago when Tennessee flew into Baton rouge Monday morning (after Rita hit on Saturday), played Monday night, and flew home after the game (and beat LSU). Phillip Fulmer showed more class in his left earlobe in that situation that Jeremy Foley and yellow teeth did last week.
Look bra, the florida decision makers saw the forecast and deliberately sat on it. This isn't 1965 where we have no idea on the future hurricane track.... there are no excuses. They should have at worst delayed the game to Sunday or Monday and if it was deemed impossible to play then cancel it at that time. As it turned out once the storm passed LSU could have traveled on Sunday and played either that night or Monday. The lack of imagination in the situation was mind boggling. It was like florida was totally surprised that a hurricane was on their doorstep...
Unbelievable.... and even more unbelievable that you choose to defend their decision....pussy.

Maybe. Maybe not. That is what UF was saying on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and that answer wasn't good enough.

Wrong.
Let's just say LSU offered up the possibility of flying in Sunday, playing the game and flying out Sunday night. UF could've said, let's make it Monday night, and you have a deal.
...but they didn't. Instead, Florida only said, "The game will be in Gainesville on Saturday."
As a matter of fact, they said it over and over, hence Alleva mocking them by saying over and over that LSU will play at home on 11/19.
The SEC commissioner doesn't have the final say if the two parties can work out a mutually agreed upon solution. They couldn't due to Florida's intransigence, therefore Foley punted to the SEC office who could do nothing but cancel the game for the weekend.
What options has Florida offered to LSU?

And there it is... part of the answer to all of this mess. sorta like "We are playing this game at noon in Gainesville".

The SEC has a new lost-revenue insurance policy that went into effect this year. LSU reportedly makes $3 million per home game, and insurance would cover that. It already has to account for one Florida home game.
You fricking idiot....you do understand the point of insurance right? No insurance policy will doll cash out because the insured takes it upon themselves to not play a game. Florida may very well get their insurance money but LSU choosing to not play a home game will get them nothing....! No words to describe the ignorance on this board.

The press releases from UF said that the game was scheduled for noon Saturday with the caveat that they were monitoring updates for potential changes in time.
The whole waiting too long thing is pointless. The game was never getting moved to Baton Rouge.
