Google returns nothing useful. Must be a pretty good conspiracy

I'm sure there are some good YouTube videos to back this up?

slive is not a hero. his predessesor is the hero and slive has done an ok job. his biggest weakness is not managing the quality of the sec officials very well. while they have improved some, slive has never once admitted an error and informed us of what the sec is doing to improve the quality of officiating. as far as the sec fan cohesion goes the main reason is that we are southerners and southerners have a lot in common and are a proud and cohesive group historically. the equal revenue sharing is a factor though and it is a prime component in keeping the conference strong. the main component in conference unity is money and competition; we have been in an "arms race" for quite awhile as the facilities at member schools have been undergoing consistent and epic improvements and the member schools are paying for the top coaches in the nation, both head coaches and assistant coaches. quality assistants, esp co-ordinators in the sec don't have to be "head coaches in waiting" to make 700k-1 mil. in short, having the best facilities (top to bottom) and the best coaching attracting the best talent equates to the best league. you guys should fit it well in the sec if you want to. y'all are different like florida is different in that many of you are not really southerners. florida is "southernized yankees" and i think y'all can be "southernized texans". texas is not really the south although east texas kinda is. of course, a large part of louisiana is "cajun/new orleanian" southern so we are different too.
in short, while i like me some grits, red eye gravy, mustard greens and fried pork chops i prefer gumbo, jambalaya, and etoufee'.
(please don't pull the grammar police card as i often intentially bastardize the language both verbally and in text). welcome to the sec!

Do some research on the Patrick Peterson interception at Alabama in '09 if you want to see some real good stuff.

I'm pissed that he let aTm into the conference.

what has he done (if anything) that's disappointed SEC fans?

I should probably just enjoy the honeymoon phase but I wanna know what all we're gettin' into here.

Actually, the refs are paid off by every team that plays LSU. Doesn't matter the team or the conference. EVERY ref is against LSU

He put a limit on the number of recruits you can sign per class. He outlawed 7on7 camps. He's trying to do away with one year athletic scholarships. He also wants to be able to approve all medical scholarships. Basically he's putting his nose where it doesn't belong.

Also...look up the blown pass intereference call/interception that cost Bama the game.

Sounds like a hard act to follow. Sometimes maintaining isn't easy either. The lack of accountability for officiating can cause some problems. Is it a situation where the same teams are complaining or at the end of the game both sides feel shafted?

Our fan base is on board with this. Over the past 10 years of not being all that great, there's been a decent amount of disenfranchisement, but we've got some loyal fans and have maintained attendance, etc. But with our ranking and SEC chatter we'll likely sell out (or over-well) every game this season. Aggies are ready.

Texas is too big to be any one thing, but we pride ourselves on a lot of the same ideals Southerners hold dear, so I don't think it'll be too big of a stretch.
And bring on the gumbo and jumbalaya. I love the hell outta some spicy food and am looking forward to some epic tailgating.

He apologized to Georgia one time for a bs excessive celebration call.

# of recruits per class: Weren't SEC schools getting slammed in national media for this?
7on7: what's the thinking here? Unfair recruiting advantage?
one-year athletic scholarships: stop-gap JUCO solutions?
medical scholarships: you mean medical redshirts?

Ok, y'all can have the TD that you may have scored if interference had been called. LSU still wins by 9.
