16 years and 0 playoff or BCS appearances is a big yikes. Everyone else in the top 5 has at least been there

He earned an appearance last year and moved on to greener pastures because he knows he'll be back.

0 National Titles
0 Conference titles at USC, Tenn, or Ole Miss(he did good at FAU when he had 0 pressure and noone gave a shite). He won conference titles at FAU, he went an amazing 26-13!!!
I mean....I am sure he will do much better at LSU..Tenn and Southern Cal(despite each having more National Titles and Conference titles then LSU) are terrible jobs.
USC has 11 Natties, 37 Conf Titles
Tenn has 6 Natties, 13 SEC titles
LSU has 4 Natties, 12 SEC titles
Hrm...you are the worst of the three. But I am sure he will do very well at LSU(and yes, I am not delusional, I know Tenn and USC have a better history then us too)...lol

Playing devil's advocate, he was only at Tennessee for one season, hardly enough time to win anything.
At USC, he had a postseason ban for like half of his tenure and roster sanctions for most or all of it. For instance, USC would've qualified to play for the conference championship in one of his years there, but they were banned from postseason play.

Not really a good argument, LSU has won more titles than those schools combined in the last 20 years. That was also 15ish years ago, His career has clearly progressed since then, and what he built at ole miss was nothing short of miraculous.
