SEC Championship Game to come to an end

The Conference will not be able to accommodate the game given the new playoff system. This is the next big announcement after the merger announcement on Thursday from Hoover, AL.

We don’t have to accommodate the playoff. The playoff will have to accommodate us.

This is in the works - the ESPN deal will be renegotiated (due to the small print of contract) - they will make more money off playoff than SEC championship game. Just good business.
