UGA, Alabama, then poss. LSU. or Florida.

The Barn isn't even sniffing the CFP after replacing their fresh O-line.

You act like that was great OL we are replacing. And no, I don't think we are a contender. The schedule and the losses on both lines will keep us out of that this year.

Alabama
Florida
UGA

Only if mond turns into JB does A&M have a shot, who are their receivers?

LSU has a new oline & QB to break in, I'd be very surprised if we make it back.

Having said that, with no spring fb and off season workouts I think a lot of sheer luck will be involved this year

Well, they did win a conference division championship as recently as the late 90s, so I suppose it's in the realm of possibility

List is a little longer than I'd have it but based on Blue Chip Ratio and coaching/infrastructure ... this is basically the list every year.

Tennessee will be back in the mix soon enough if they keep this momentum up on the trail.

No it wasn't a good O-line, although it was pretty experienced.

I think Auburn will be decent on the D-line next year though, although no one is on Derrick Brown's level of domination.

AU allowed the third fewest QB pressures in all of FBS last season, and graded out as a top 30 OL in all situations according to PFF

I think they were definitely helped by the fact that Nix is just really good at avoiding pressure, and especially for a true FR did a great job of deciding when to just throw the ball away as opposed to trying to hold onto the ball and force something.

But either way, Auburn's OL last year was better than most, especially our own fans, want to give them credit for

Regardless, I believe at least 4 of those 5 guys are no longer on the team.

Fresh linemen + new offense + limited time to implement new offense likely means Auburn is not a CFP contender.

Until Aggie ACTUALLY wins a Natty, SEC Championship, or SEC Division Title, please stop putting them on these lists. They aren't a contender. They have never done squat in the SEC. Beating Bama that one time (2?) and their BS 7 OT win over LSU isn't a title, and they aren't winning any title this year either.

Damn. National Title lock secured. It's the Auburn way.
