It’s indoor track season, man. You want me to follow Bama basketball in January?

Can't dispute that. We haven't participated in probably the last three challenges counting this one, I think.

How is it decided? Is it up to the school or invitation?

I think it's based on the prior year standings, at least that is what I read here once. But that could be complete BS. Too lazy to go back and research standings and then see who participated in the next year.

It was more directed at him. I wouldn’t have said that to you

What's weird is that I half expect to beat Baylor, with the way this freaking team seems to play to the level of their competition.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure Baylor is about to curbstomp us, but I wouldn't be surprised either if we won. Probably end up making Alabama the first team ever with wins over 4 of the top 8 and losses to two Q4 teams.

I admire your honesty. Thing is, Alabama is about to lose 4 in a row, and 3 curbstompings. Auburn isn't going to love them, all gentle like. Pretty sure Bruce might pull students out of the stands to play in the last 5 minutes.

Now that the league is playing at a higher level I mostly see this as a distraction from conference play. I’d rather it happen right before the first SEC matchup. Any game against Kansas is big and will be fun but I’d be happier just sticking to the conference race.

Texas 8&4feit is so afraid of having to play Texas, they opted out of the entire Big 12 challenge.

Big time opportunity for these 3 SEC teams to build their resume. All three along with A&M are considered on the bubble

Gonna be a tough game for us against Kansas. Fully healthy, I'd take us even on the road. But as of today Washington, Toppin, and Collins didn't practice. Hopefully they're just trying to give them an extra day to recover but looks like we'll be shorthanded on the road.

Oklahoma has defeated Arkansas and Florida this season. Don’t be surprised if they pull an upset over the #1 team in the land.

That would have been epic. I think we may get a chance in the tourney if the stars align.
