How about this; In the past 5 years LSU has one BCS bowl appearance. That is still piss poor performance by LSU considering the amount of talent present.

Ok I'm game
I was a bouncer and security around Bham at various clubs for 2 yrs during college, started at Tiki Bob's was hired because I got buzzed enough with some friends one night that they talked me into fight night
I had to pay for the guys medical bills broke his jaw and cheekbone 2 teeth went through his lip
Bar owner offered me a job it paid well during college

one can take that further. for all of this talk about "a&m had a season that would piss lsu fans off", it would have been LSUs best season, outside of 2011, over the same time period. theyve had a rough half decade
