If you look at the schedule they played, Washington played a better schedule and should have been Number One.
It's going to be a tough game no doubt, but they will figure out quick that ain't Purdue they are on the field with at the Rose Bowl. It's a LOS game and I don't think they will push Alabama around.

B1G had a monopoly from WWII to ESPN (CFA was helpful to rest of the country)
B1G has some issues (cheaters, pedos, rapist and such) and that is just their coaches
B1G got exposed and Rose Bowl was the toilet bowl once the NCAA got busted and schools outside the B1G (with more exciting football) started getting TV time
