I thought Ole Miss basketball was bi-polar but our baseball team takes it to a whole new level though

That's been the theme of the entire athletic department this season.

Beat Alabama in football, then lose to mediocre programs like LSU and Arkansas.

Bad Ole Miss teams got lucky and surprised a good team once in football and once in baseball. Not exactly bipolar.

LSU's SoS is weird because this year it seemed like they actually tried to schedule decent non-conf series (except for the annual Ivy League series, that I hate). But Kansas (regional team last year) and Boston College (decent but not great program) have both sucked and the Houston College Classic didn't give us the bump we were expecting either.

ETA: I still hate that we play any SWAC schools other than Southern too.

Yea, those OOC series can kind of be crapshoots. Alabama's is so high due to

@ #31 Houston (3)
#41 ULL (3)
#23 Auburn (1)
#128 Lipscomb (3)
#120 South Alabama (2)
#63 UAB (2)

Plus have already played SEC series with #4 A&M, #5 Florida and #6 LSU.

16 of their 43 games are against Top 50, 23 of their 43 games are against Top 100 RPI teams so far, and all but 5 are against Top 200 teams.

Be nice to get our RPI up this weekend against A&M even if we don't win

If USC fails to make the SEC tourney or get invited to someone else's regional, then surely Tanner will have to do something about Holbrook.

Right?
