just noticed that. Thought Kuhns was gonna start
It makes sense. One of our weekend guys is hurt anyway. If we used Kuhns tonight we would be dead in the water the rest of the week.

Just tuning in…
Tenn OF kinda nonchalant in the right field gap.
Good to see the hustle from the SC batter to go turn it into a triple.

SC can’t even execute a run down.

SC is ready for their season to end, and I don’t blame them.

Earlier in the game they couldn’t figure out how to cover first base on a ball to the right side of the infield.

Kinda crazy that for how good South Carolinas baseball history is, they have only won this tournament once

quote:Back when they were good, they knew that certain things locked up. They came to Hoover and went 0-2 many times that I went. Ray Tanner knew the tourney was not going to hurt or help him so he saved pitchers and rested players with injuries. (I thought I would answer this because I doubt there are any USC fans still watching).

Yeah seems like Tanner won it once to check a box and then decided it didnt matter

you nailed it with Ray and the SECT - once he got the 2004 trophy in Hoover it was all about the Regionals - if Carolina was a Top 8 NCAA seed some of our guys didn't even make the trip to Hoover -

Philpott pitching. I thought he was injured for the season?? Good to see him back. I hated to lose him at UF.

For those of you who haven’t seen LSU attempt to play defense you’re in for a real treat if you stick around.

baw we play like little leaguers

Philpott started the season having to rest his arm for soreness - he got his first action in Charleston against The Citadel the mid-week game before Carolina and Florida played in Gainesville SEC opening weekend - and he's just pitched in spots ever since - there was concern he could miss the season but somehow it's worked out -
he was anticipated to be a weekend rotation arm -
whoever our next coach is has to make Craddock the biggest priority - Evans played high school ball about 30 minutes from Founders Park -

Cocks showing some life. Game isnt over our bullpen is arse

our bullpen is arse
ours likes to collapse in painful ways - but I also have to credit our abysmal fielding and at times brain dead base running - that has all contributed to the flaming turd that has been the past 114 games

We should not be in
Doesn't matter ... they're not moving on even if they get it. And look, I'm not trying to bait a certain really passionate poster. I've kept track of Kentucky Baseball more than any other sport not named Football this year. I want them to win.
But they're just not winners. Bad bullpen and bad defense.
Keep 'em out. Just for cancelling the NKU game.
