I don’t think any State fan, save John Cohen, would disagree with you. At least it’s only foul areas and home plate.

Fake grass in the south is pathetic.

We average 100 inches of rain a year and have clay that doesn’t grow grass well. Most of our yards are clover.

On a bright note the tuff means we will play an hour after a ton of rain.

I realize that it's a different climate, but Scott's Weed and Feed works pretty good for clovers here. Apply it after the 2nd or 3rd cut in the spring and then after the last cut in the fall. Supposedly cutting the grass as short as possible is supposed to help too.

They don't understand that grass doesn't grow well in red clay...weeds do lol. Most fields they take out quite a bit of the clay and bring in good topsoil for the field. Commonwealth Stadium grass field always looked good but then admin decided to save $$$$$ by going to turf during stadium renovation. Oh the turf looks cute, nice and neat....but it ain't GRASS. We don't have a domed stadium lol, admin are always ignorant

Scotts is good, I have True Green do my lawn fertilization/weed control. Crabgrass and Bermuda are also lawn killers, though I know some people do Bermuda lawns. Many do Zoysia grass.

100? Where do you live? I know for a fact places like Chattanooga get 60-70" per year in very wet years.

100" is more than 8" per month

Welcome to the SEC, we take shite like this seriously.

Remember, most of these states don't have pro teams.
