Warren Nolan must believe LSU has their pitching figured out based on their performance versus OU. This might be deceiving. The weather in Norman was definitely helpful to both team pitching. Not only does OU have one of the biggest if not biggest outfields in the league but the cold wind blowing in really helped both pitching. Anderson, Eyanson, Evans and Cowan with LSU have proved themselves in any conditions but I really think the weather helped young freshman Chase Shores (game 3) a lot. Yeskie, LSU pitching coach was probably calling more pitches to contact and just not worried about OU hitting homeruns in those conditions. Shores did have a good game allowing only one unearned run but thinking that will translate into games where there is more favorable hitting conditions may be a little premature. As an LSU fan I hope it really works out for Shores.

They predict every game and it's based on probabilities.. almost like a dice roll..

For example..
Texas 45%
@ Arkansas 55%

Sometimes the dice will roll and give Texas a win.. sometimes it will be Arkansas, so you see a lot of fluctuations.. but it doesn't really mean anything at all.. it's just fun to look at..

It drastically changed in an hours time LOL.

Tennesse is now 2nd and Bama 3rd.

I realize the pigs just move up a spot since Tenn lost their series, but sweeping uga was darn impressive to me!

6.5 average to 2.5 average is a pretty big jump..

If we hadn't lost the midweek game, it probably would have been more, but I think the Hogs would have still have been #1.

6-1 against Top 10 teams is pretty damn good though..
22-2 in weekend series (8-0) is as well..

It doesn't matter if we are #1 or #2 or #5..

getting a National Seed would be great though..

I did not expect Texas to be ranked #2 at all this season. Kinda wild.

It was. Curious how we'll do at UGA. We've never fared well in Athens. Then again, this team is a little different than about any team we've had in the DVH era.

Yeah, I definitely didn't either, but some of it has been good fortune.. for example, Georgia dropping that ball in Game 1, which opened the floodgates for us.. and perhaps allowed us to win all 3 games..

Little things can make big differences in baseball..

Hopefully the ball keeps bouncing our way, but it tends to even out over the season.. we shall see.. still a lot of games to be played.. I'm just happy to be competitive again. Next year, I think we'll be even better with Schloss working the portal on top of the new recruiting class.

2025 #2 behind #1 LSU
2026 #1 as of now

Clearly some of those guys will get drafted though..

Well you could say the same things the other way too. Our two midweek losses were misfortunes on our end. Thankfully they have not happened during the weekends.

I have removed the offense and defense numbers for Missouri and each of their opponents.. I feel like this makes the Net RPG more accurate. Arkansas is still crushing their opponents.

Opponents so far..

Texas
Arkansas
LSU
Ole Miss

On that topic, apparently Auburn has really good Friday pitching? And Florida has a really bad Saturday pitching?

haha, horns down doesn't bother me and at this point, it's actually pretty funny to see someone do it.. That being said, it 100% used to piss me off, because OU was pretty much the only one who did it.. but now EVERYONE does it..

We could play some school from Canada and their fans would be doing horns down the whole game.. so yeah, it's kinda funny at this point..

It seems to be predicting Arkansas to lose every series to UGA, TU, LSU, and UT......
