• With his team losing four of the previous six games entering SEC play, Mitchell put his team on his back March 15 at Georgia with his first career complete game. Going up against a red-hot Georgia squad which was riding a season-high 11-game winning streak and averaging 10.9 runs per game in its previous seven contests, Mitchell held UGA to just four hits and one run on its home field.
