I’d much rather see 10 conference games every year. It’s far more fun to play SEC teams during the season than playing OOC games to get to a shitty bowl. The playoff should be expanded to 16 teams and bowl games should be eliminated altogether.

I would love to see an expanded playoff but bowl games are a fixture imo. Lot of tradition with bowl games and a,lot of fun for the teams.

Going forward, next year we won't have 10 SEC games so it's not going to matter ultimately. Although, I do think this year will be a great test run to maybe try to add more SEC games in the future.

Agreed I believe we will be back on the 8 game schedule. And I can see the argument for a 9 game schedule. However, I can see some push back from member schools that rely on the 4 OOC games to have a chance at a bowl.

To got to a permanent 10 game schedule the 6 win requirement for bowls would need to be revisited for us to do it again

This is the first year Mizzou feels like they're in the SEC for me...and not just the SEC East + Arky. It's always seemed like the other SEC West teams were just a rotating out of conference game once per year; this year it feels like a conference. Have to go to at least 9 and would sign up for 10+ in a heartbeat.

This is correct.

If not 10, go to 9, and atleast 2 P5 noncon. This year has been fun.

I'd obviously prefer to stick with with 8 conf games and 4 OOC games. that is the only way we can get to a bowl game given the recruiting disadvantage you have. Perhaps if all teams could get the extra practices that come with a bowl game, it wouldn't be as bad. Every bowl game does help us in recruiting so it would be good to get that opportunity every once in a while. the money issue is a bit different since part of the bowl proceeds are distributed to all the schools; the big kicker is that donations from Vandy fans goes way up due to a bowl game so there is some financial costs to us. I'd also like to take this opportunity to say that Vandy and Bama have the 2 best bowl attendance records for bowl games. We don't go often, but when we do, we buy a least half the stadium and we spend $$.

I do think that the SEC is more concerned with the top football schools than the entire league. But then again, so are the networks and the NCAA.

I'll add that I think it could hurt the SEC's chances to get more than 1 school in the championship series since the SEC would just be beating itself up if we went to 10 or more conference games.

I am against it. Carolina has to play Clemson every year as well. Basically an 11 game SEC schedule. Just too tough.
