Gus Malzahn should probably get Malik Willis some time, and burn his redshirt. Also, bring in Joey Gatewood and Torrance Gibson for depth.

Saw him play last week vs Co-Lin CC. He looks like a a million dollars in pads and runs great but isn't a very good passer at all.

If he can't simply provide depth at QB, move him to another position.
The dude is an exceptional athlete.
ETA: A much better athlete than Jason Smith and John Franklin III.

Nailed it!!
I always thought that was a wasted scholly! Marshall was a damn good athlete. Franklin more of a track guy pretending to be a football player.
People often assume that if someone is really fast then they would excel on the football field. Not always the case.
Most of these good athletes coming out of HS are in the QB position because they ARE their schools BEST ATHLETE. Not really a QB, but can sling the piss out of it better than anyone else on the roster.
