ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports one of the reasons the Dolphins are starting Tua Tagovailoa over Ryan Fitzpatrick is so they can evaluate whether to draft a quarterback in 2021. Miami has Houston’s first and second round picks this year. With the Texans headed for a bottom-five finish, it puts the Dolphins in position to draft another quarterback. Miami wants to know what they have in Tua and if his surgically-repaired hip can hold up . If not, this could turn into a Cardinals situation with the Dolphins one and done with Tua. Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Ohio State’s Justin Fields, and North Dakota’s Trey Lance are considered the top quarterbacks in this year’s class.

Sorry kid, not everyone can be Joe Burrow. Sounds like they already know he is too fragile for the NFL. Hopefully he saved all that money he made at Bama.

I mean, isn't this what NFL teams are supposed to do?

Doesn't mean they are "already considering moving on."

That's not exactly what that quote is saying.

Maybe Tua can co-star with Saban in some commercials?

Yea those are two very different statements. You should apply for a job with CNN with that level of mis-characterization skills.

I mean to be fair, this statement:
quote:

is so they can evaluate whether to draft a quarterback in 2021.

Implies that they have at least thought about it.

He could use a year or two more rest. If he can get healthy, he can start in the NFL.

This is what I said when I saw that you forgot when LSU was playing in the national title game!

Remember when you thought Tua was announcing his draft decision to take the limelight away from LSU vs. Clemson even though that game wasn’t until a week after he announced his decision?

This forum would be a better place if people like you were banned.

It's as bad as people on the election forum posting false results.
