Move it to the week of Oct 24, Jawja's open week.

We play aTm that week and if you bump that game one week that is aTm's open week as well as ours.
No thanks. Already have travel plans.

It doesn't look like it's going to be much issue thus far.

Based on what I've seen, if it's stronger and a hurricane, it will hit on Friday night and likely be cleared out by game time.

However, if it takes longer to get to the coast, it'll be weaker and then arrive on Saturday. So that would affect the game, but it won't be a hurricane or anything severe. Probably a ton of rain though.

Probably have a better picture on Thursday after it develops and models can see how long it's going to hang down by Mexico before moving up. The longer it waits, the worse the conditions are expected to be for it's development.

I can't think of many places that could handle the logistics of 2 completely different 100,000 fan games but Dallas could do it surprisingly

Dallas could but DFW with a heavy dew, let alone a tropical storm or worse within 1000 miles would be backed up until this time next year.....

Wouldn't surprise me if Alabama runs some 3 TE sets and tries to run by committee if it's that bad. Lots of short passes.

I've been out of the loop; why would it need to be moved?

If the current thinking holds, a tropical storm/hurricane is likely to make landfall somewhere along the SE Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama coast sometime late Friday night or Saturday and will then move up through east Mississippi/west Alabama. It’ll bring lots of wind and rain, as well as the possibility of a few isolated tornadoes.

Too early to know all of the specifics, though.
