The women's tourney is bloated
I haven't been keeping up with it, but as of last week 10 of the first 48 games (21%) had been decided by 40 or more points.
So yeah, women's basketball is always dominated by a few top teams, because comparatively there are only so many "elite" female athletes.
If you get like three dudes that are technically women on your roster (you know the kind I'm talking about), no one is beating you until you run across another team like that.

Would be impressed if your coach wasn't a racist

Not even ESPN can make anyone give a shite.
And no one gives a shite.
No one in SC cared until SC decided to suck at baseball.

Its easier to win now. Schools like South Carolina put all their NIL into womens basketball cause they cant compete in anything else so they have the best players. Either way Summit owned Dawn head to head

You don't truly believe that.....Back then you may have 3 teams that could win it. Now you have 3 teams in the SEC alone that could win it all...
Also I do love that you're saying that like UT has been relevant since 2000 in anything other than a few baseball years .... Maybe yall should pour more resources into WBB

Its the same coaches winning now that its been for the last 30 years. If Summit was still coaching she wouldve continued to dominate Dawn just like she was when she was sick and retired

Not knocking Pat Head Summit because she was the GOAT imho. However, she was HC at UT from '74-2012. She literally became HC at UT the year after she graduated from UT Martin. She won NCs from 87-08.
Dawn didn't get into coaching until her playing days in the WNBA were over (94-08) and, even then, she coached part time at Temple from 2008-2008.
She didn't become a full time college HC (at SC) until 2008, and she's done well.
She's 52. She's said she wants to keep coaching for another 10 years. She will probably not break PHD's SEC record in that amount of time but she has had an extraordinary career.
Three golad medals as a player and a coach.
Carried the U.S. Flag in the Olympics.
First woman to have a Nike shoe named after her.
Three national titles at SC in her time here and, hopefully, she'll win more.
Well ...
