I am just waiting for when we stroll into Willy-B with our 3 wins against Wofford and Beamer is chest bumping players after big plays, and we escape to win 30-20.
No picture has better summed up Shane Beamer and his antics.

Hey now, that's not fair at all.
Morris was 2-8 and 2-10 at Arkansas.
Beamer was 7-6, 8-5 and 5-7 the last 3 years and is already at 3 wins for this season.
He's more of a Sam Pittman or Brett Bielema at worst.

Was that the handoff exchange fumble with Rocket?
If not, I must have missed that one. I kinda quit watching after the forced interception into double coverage in the endzone.

People have semi tolerated it because he's more likeable than Muschamp,
What makes SC people hate Muschamp so much, outside of not winning? Why is he so hated by SC fans?
Not a troll question. Honest question.

Our team is a reflection of our Coach. We play extremely unprepared and with a lack of discipline. We have talent but our coaching staff is no where near SEC quality.

That fake punt call will go down as one of the absolute stupidest calls in history. No one else would have tried that in that situation .... it was a uniquely disqualifying decision that Shane has no one to blame for but himself.
That stupidity just screamed "Look at me, I am a Beamer!". Unfortunately, he is more like an 82' Ford Escort. I blame Ray Tanner for hiring a completely unqualified entity to run an SEC program more than I blame Shane for his shortcomings.

Besides his ego and not being very approachable he was telling players to transfer once he was being let go. He did his best to hurt us on the way out.

That's a reason to hate him after the fact, but the hate before yall shitcanned him? He "wasn't approachable" isn't an acceptable answer.
Anyone else want to answer?

Because he sucks
The "unapproachable " part played into it. He was never into the school nor did he support the other sports teams. He never sold a "team" concept only a get to the NFL concept and he wasn't good at that. He absolutely does not take criticism of any kind well at all.

And now there's a serious confidence problem. That's not good.
I said going into Ole Miss that him being 3-1, could have been 4-0, that he would do some stupid shite this game. He did not disappoint.
It’s like his ego gets super inflated when there’s success.

It was a bunch of things. The man is a football sevant, but has some of the worst people skills of any head coach I've ever known. The kids quit haveng fun and didn't want to play for him any more. This is just one example, and not the end all be all but when he famously said, "Thanksgiving is a meal, not a day." it kinda sums up his whole approach to the program.

I’ve often wondered why y’all and aggy were so bad given the resources available. With usce I feel like it’s a recruiting issue. You guys are in no man’s land. The recruiting is too good to get passed on by the nfl so you can’t keep and develop talent like wiscy or Iowa do. but it’s not good enough to where you can stack blue chip on blue chip and next man up things like uga and bama either. Kinda leaving you always chasing the dragon

It sounds like an indictment on the SC fanbase approach to the program. When you have a game against your rival, Clemson, on Saturday, you don't just get to all fly home and spend a few days doing normal Thanksgiving things with friends and family. You get some turkey and dressing and some fixin's for lunch, and get your arse back out on the practice field. Muschamp doing it like every single other coach does it during Thanksgiving (rivalry) week.
Posted on 10/7/24 at 7:01 pm to deeprig9
quote:0h this is too fkn easy to answer - Muschamp had a 2 tier system in the locker room with his favorites and then everyone else - all the NFL prospects were treated completely different within the program - especially when it came to who had to practice and who didn't - because they might had a 'foot' or a supposed 'ankle' - while others down the depth chart busted their arse through the week with the idea they had a chance to start - only to see the same guys who didn't practice - start -
That's a reason to hate him after the fact, but the hate before yall shitcanned him? He "wasn't approachable" isn't an acceptable answer.

there's a reason Carolina looked lifeless and some of the guys could GAF what the score was on the scoreboard - the goal for WM and his pets were to reach the NFL -
that doesn't even begin to address staff issues - from Kurt fkn Roper to then giving McClendon the OC job because USC beat a shite Hairball Michigan team in the Outback bowl - the fact that Lance Thompson was on staff for 1 let alone 3 seasons is another fail altogether -
the most WM thing he ever did at USC was kick a late FG to lose 48-3 to Jimbo at W-B ...that was in the middle of 3 games where his & TRob's defense gave up 52-48-59 points to LSU - Aggy - Ole Miss -

On the flip side, you've practiced all season. Are you really gonna get that much outta 1 more day? Plus Muschamp was o-fer against Dabo after Muschamp stupidly told Dabo his wife was hitting on him...

This should make you love Muschamp.
I have read all the replies, I still don't understand why yall hate him so much.
Spurrier is worshiped, but quit on your team in the regular season.
