Ohio State will probably win lose to Arch, just Sayin.
Kid has a last name that's custom made for the idiot journalists.
Fwiw Texas defense is looking stout in camp. I don't know enough about OSU defense to say how Texas offense will do. Both teams lost a ton of starters but both teams also reloaded.
That it's not a night game is worth at least 3 points for Texas (no idea how OSU agreed to that; probably related to TV money though).

OSUs interior OL handled Texas fine last season.
You had 81 yards rushing against Texas, half of which came on two plays.
Other playoff games:
Notre Dame: 214
Tennessee: 156
Oregon: 181
Maybe you're talking about pass blocking though, Is Sayin a decent scrambler? Our pass rush should be better than last year

In what way? You had an opening drive and then a single fourth quarter drive. Outside of that the interior line basically did nothing all game long. You did have the big play right before the half that was backbreaking, but that was hardly a credit to the interior OL.
Also, not sure it matters since Texas doesn't return anyone in the interior DL who took snaps in that game. It's a brand new rotation there.

He's supposed to be a good athlete, but Kienholz was considered the better "runner." I have a strong feeling we'll get a good opportunity to see what kind of scrambler he is.

Can't be that hard to toss it up to Jeremiah Smith
It was for them last year against Texas.
1 catch. 3 yards. (I've seen 4 yards, too - just going by the ESPN.com box score).
Texas lost 1st and 2nd round DB draft picks off that team, so I don't expect this group to be quite as good. Also, both Tate and Ebuka had pretty good games, so if you try to shut down Smith you open it up for his teammates.
But I also wouldn't say it's quite that simple.

Looks like a pedo
Now we know why he went to the Big10.

Tide fans love to cope and deflect when they lose an important player. Now that DeLoser is running the ship, the deflection will be amped up as they get outbid by programs for players.

Wasn’t he on campus for like 17 days?
Not hating on the kid, he walked into OSU as the starter for the defending champs. Doesn’t get better than that. I honestly think it worked out well for both OSU and Bama. We have a guy we like and has a ton of potential and so does OSU.

Huh? Different games. At different times of day. Even on two different channels. How is it impossible to watch both games?

Idk, it’ll be Big Noon versus a night game in the first Death Valley.
I think a ton of eyes will be on the Big Noon but man I love watching night games.

I think when you don’t have a QB that can effectively pull it in the run game, getting those short yards can be super hard when you can send a hat like Caleb Downs in the box to play free, etc.
I do agree our OL is our big question mark but I like our RBs and I like the threat of Arch pulling it every now and then to keep the DEs honest.
Last year DEs could crash hard because Quinn was not a threat to run with his bum ankle.

The team that dominates the LOS will win. Story as old as time.

I wish this wasn’t the opener for both teams. Hard to get a fix on either team. It could be a 2-3 TD win either way or it could go into overtime. Two really talented teams with new leaders at QB. The only real advantage in this game is home field and that will probably decide the outcome.

Sayin will be the Heisman favorite by Sunday August 31st. Not much of a bold prediction but it’s going to happen.

Saw today that a first year starter vs the #1 AP team is 0-18 all-time in their first start.
That would be something

I mean my gut feeling is Texas jumps them fast. OSU closes the gap and Texas wins a close game. Both make playoff.
