Spending time on this Board has made me a big LSU fan from afar. In fact, visiting Baton Rouge for a night SEC game is now a bucket list for me:
Unique food and culture
Tail gaiting
Excessive drinking (non violent)

Golden Girls and that goofy/adorable L they make with their arms while smiling
The Band - with its excessive brass and drums
Fans that love/hate their Tigers
Did I mention the food. I cook so many Cajun seafood dishes in my iron skillet at home that my family says I’m an honorary Cajun.

Great Fans. Death Valley was an amazing place to watch a College Football game. The SC @ LSU game in 2012 was the loudest game I've ever been to.

I poke fun at them, the same as everyone else, but they are good people. They've always been friendly to me and my family.
When my nephew was down there with the National Guard the locals could not have been more friendly him and the rest of his unit.

They accept a lot of less than desirable kids from East Texas. Helping us clean up the state.
