Looking at those Torvik rankings and sitting here watching Duke clown on ND, SEC teams are either gonna be worn out or battle hardened for the Dance. Duke is gonna go,through the ACC like shite through a tin horn. Just something to watch come NCAA time.

That league has 1 great team (Duke) , 4-5 average teams (Lville, Pitt, UNC, Clemson, maybe FSU) and 11 just plain bad teams.

But on the flip side last year B12 was king conf wise and didn’t get extra in due to beating each other up. So yes you move 2 more teams to SEC and same thing will happen and as they beat each other up it will end up costing slots.
As more teams lose they also slide in metrics. Say for example OU keeps losing that hurts other conf teams as OU rankings go down and besting them is not as much a quality win (talking by end of season).
I still stick with 8 in. But its a great topic and your views are sound. I personally saw it play our last year where the toughest conf get screwed by committee and now this year its SEC as toughest.
Another note. OU has done this 3 years in row and now in 4th year its repeating. Great OC record then shite the bed in conf. Porter is in a make or break year. He has a 1st round one and done true freshman and if he can’t make playoffs he’s gone.

If it makes you feel better, one time we started conference play 0-5, then won like 10 games in a row. It can be done.

Broome’s body language is awful right now. You can tell this is the first time in awhile that he has been worked over at any point in a game.

Iron sharpens iron. But there's definitely a possibility to be worn out. It's why I hate the SEC tournament ends Sunday. I'd rather be done by Friday, so there's extra rest for teams that win games.
And at least Duke scheduled good ooc games. But that's never helped Gonzaga win it all.

Speaking of UT, this is the only game between Tennessee and Texas of the big 3 men's sports. No football game, one basketball game, and no baseball games.
