That win should probably wrap up a top 8 for LSU. I still think if Arky drops the final game tomorrow and wins the series against the Vols they are still top 8

It’d be a very good conversation for sure. On one hand that is a good enough record to get it. On the other hand that would mean they would have lost 5 of the last 6 series I believe. It’d be interesting to see how the committee handles it with so many SEC teams at the top vying for the top 8.

Yeah he gave up on the throw to keep it in front of the first baseman. Didn’t want to chance it with a runner on 3rd.
