He had touched the base already before the other leg caught the runner in the gut. It was a wild throw that took Luc into the air. Luc doesn’t play dirty and it was not intentional.

He had already came down on the base before Luc leg made contact with the runner. The official review confirmed that which for the reason for the out call.

If he was so off balance how did his foot and hand both point directly at the baserunner?
I tend to think it was more a natural defensive reaction to someone running full speed at him. More of a flinch, if you will.

Yeah probably just a natural reaction. Im not sure you even have time to think in those moments the body just reacts

LSU lost 8 of their first 9 SEC games last season and still made it to a Super, so I think you guys are going to be OK.
