I just don’t see A&M finishing in the top three in the SEC West in ’15 or ’16, not with Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss looking so strong and Arkansas on the rise. And it’s tough to justify paying a Top 5 or Top 10 salary nationally to a coach who doesn’t crack the top three in a division, no matter how tough.

Less Miles is the underachiever, Cowboy.

Agreed, KS has 2 years to earn that large paycheck IMO.

Why would firing an overpaid coach for another team make me happy?

No SEC coach has done less with more than Kevin Warren Sumlin.

Mason is the obvious answer but I don't see anyone else being close to being on the hotseat.

If SDS says it will happen, assume that something very different will happen. That site is the worst. Very little research or understanding of their topic matter. Almost never a good source.

do you ever consider the fact that LSU has spent $5mm more on football coaches over the last 3 years with the exact same record when you say stuff like this?

Miles and Sumlin with identical records over the last three years, but it's Sumlin people are starting to put on the hotseat. I guess people just don't expect any better from LSU anymore.

I sincerely doubt Stoops gets canned without a full four seasons at the helm.

LSU: 11-2 : 10-3 : 8-5 = 29-10
A&M: 11-2 : 9-4 : 8-5 = 28-11
28=29: Aggie Math

you may want to check those 2012 records again chief

Why would we want a coach that can't beat LSU fired?

The difference is that people are starting to realize that Manziel won most of those games and your boy Summy was just along for the ride. Without Manziel Sumlin has been exposed as a good recruiter that does less with more on the field.
