Final 9-4 Vols in a dominating performance
Kentucky has been a pleasant suprise to strengthen SEC as a league. However, the 2nd half of their season will really prove just how good they are. Yes, that goes for everyone but Ags schedule gets easier until the big matchup against Ark at end of season.
IMO, Vande is better and that's been proven this weekend. Arkansas even better. Vols even, even better. And A&M even, even better, too. All those "evens" being very tight tolerances! Lol.
I also think Vols and A&M are top teams most likely for a deep CWS run. Sorry Ark...you don't have the bats.

Holman chased in the 5th against MIZZ. He would have fit right in at Bama again this year

Arky guys do you have a player or two that are very capable at the plate but just in a funk? Or is more a case of being just average across the lineup?

Tygart looks much better today than he has the last couple of outings.

Hogs tack on another after giving one up in the previous half-inning.
4-2 Hogs
4-2 Hogs

Why are stands empty? There’s no Cocks out.

Double-headers usually screw up attendance.

We hate our coach and haven’t been to Omaha since 2012. Who gives a shite

I don’t think A&M is built for CWS run. They are built to get there but the pitching simply isn’t deep enough to do significant damage. Just enjoy the wins as they come

Most Hog fans would love to see a change at Hitting Coach. Nate Thompson does a piss poor job developing players.

Not really. Not a funk. The offensive approach is terrible

Quit the trolling, the pettiness…what a great weekend of SEC baseball. I watched and checked into more games than ever before. Great weekend. That was fun.

Pretty sure Carolina used most of their top-end arms last game. Hopefully we can do more damage to this crew.
On cue a wild pitch scores a run.
5-2 Hogs in the 7th.

Don't look now but we've got a little hit parade going.

Hogs finally stringing hits together.. this is more like it
Posted on 4/20/24 at 6:03 pm to Omahawgs15
Our game3 pitching usually does that

Feel better about a road series win now. We will see. But if mcentire comes in and does his thing, hogs should win
