Yep. They have long overdue payback coming. Tech hates em. SMU is finally in a position to stick it to them. OU possibly going to a playoff and desperate to recruit at their former level. A&M building a juggernaut is their worst nightmare
Then you have Desmond Howard sticking it to them. Him being a Michigan alum shows you the depth of people everywhere who know what whorn is
And we all know how cutthroat the SEC is. Sark is in some real trouble at the moment. He failed in the portal last year. They currently have a good 2026 class, but they barely got anyone major to even take visits this year. On3 is bearish on any major additions. It will be interesting to see who they add or subtract in 2 weeks. Perhaps the most concerning red flag is their lack of any notable progress with 2027. Top schools have about 25% of their class already and they have nothing. Not even in the final group of schools for guys they want. They’re going to have to put up some major money and hope Sark gets his personal life together or his days are numbered

Texas really can’t fire him bc it’s all about image for Texas Brass. They just extended him last year. Firing him the next year makes them look like a circus. It also would make it three failed coaches in a row. Thus, making it appear to be a Texas issue, not a coaching issue.
All that being said, Texas Brass does react to everything A&M. So if A&M whips Texas, they might say f it on their image and fire him.
So your only hope to get what you want is A&M whipping Texas.

We ARE a circus. A program that wants to believe it’s an elite program but lacks the courage to actually be one. Half our fan base are paralyzed by the fear that the next guy might be worse.
Like I said, I’m over it. The fans get the program they deserve. At the end of the day, it’s just football. there are plenty of things that are far more important in life.
I can still enjoy football. I just need to lower my expectations.

He's not wrong. Pros have strict rules against tampering. Colleges need to have them too.

Have you actually listened to the fan base? Go read any Texas forum. Very large number of Texas fans (I'd argue the majority) attack anyone who criticizes Sark. Every attempt to explain your dissatisfaction with him (offense, lack of discipline, focus, etc) is met with "omg do you remember what it was like with Strong?"

Sark has been to 2 straight Final Fours. No other coach accomplished that in the last 2 playoffs.

SEC fans are hilarious. You spent an entire year laughing at what a joke our schedule was last season (it was) and now it's "omg he went to two straight playoffs!!!"
I know your game. The smart thing to do would be encourage Texas to keep Sark. I get it.
Name one impressive win last season. Just one.
The only game he's ever won while punching above his weight class was the '23 bama game. He can occasionally win games like that. The problem is, he'll never be able to string enough of those together to ever truly give us a shot at the title.

ok you clearly can't have a logical discussion on this subject. Tell me what their final ranking and record was last season? Never said we had a bad team last year. We were better than most. If the goal, however, is to win it all, Sark clearly isn't the guy. A fact our fans will have to acknowledge at some point.
