Let me try and explain the SEC and old SEC fans mentality.
1. We really don’t care for other teams in the SEC.
2. There is only Regional pride not conference pride. ( when playing anyone north of the mason-dixon, you’ll find Bama fans pulling for Auburn, when playing a yankee team.) Visa Versa for all SEC teams.
3. When playing each other, we hurl insults.
4. Texas losing to Ohio State left bad taste in everyone’s mouth. We were pulling for the Horns and your team screwed the pooch. Same was true when Bama lost to Michigan in semi and last year.
5. We are a Regional conference of old southern states. That right Tejas, looking at YOU.
THE SEC could be called anything you want, it’s WHOSE in the SEC that matters to us.

The SEC isn’t the best Conference by accident.
Although the Big 10 is catching up after NIL
You will understand why aTm is 8-4
You may have a really good team 1 slip up here will cost you dearly.

Agreed but have you have to admit the SEC seems all about propping up Texas. Look at their schedule then look at OU. Full 180. It’s hilarious / heinous.

I don’t know why so many of y’all seem to denigrate Tennessee?? I think Tennessee has been the most hospitable to us thus far…
I will share that I like many of the same things Tennessee fans seem to like: The Smoky Mountains, moonshine, Dolly, the UT symbol, the color orange, and that Rocky Top song they sing…
