If a player goes to any one of those camps, they are there to "move on" if they get an offer. Either they should all be allowed back or none of them. But expecting consistency might be asking too much

And these players did not "move on." They were told they had no choice. Sankey is acting like it was a choice

Don’t forget the QB making $6M this year who sued for his 6th year of eligibility bc of a sore throat is considered an amateur, and that’s ok by the SEC, at least enough so that they didn’t sue that school and coach.

It's irrelevant. The SEC is able to make its own rules on eligibility. You aren't forced to the NCAA's standards; you just have to stay with in them.

The SEC can't allow 6th year players and still be within the rules, but they can go down to 4 all they want to. The NCAA may have minimum academic requirements, but the SEC can make some that are even tougher. You can't sue Notre Dame for example and make them take you because your academics are passable in the NCAA, Notre Dame is able to set it's own standards.

It doesn't mean they can't play the sports, it just means they can't do it in the SEC.

I see the same shite in real estate when it comes to state, county and city rules/permits. The state will set a standard and then a city/county will make their own rules that are usually stricter.

If the state says you can have short term rentals, but the city says you can't, you can't just sue the city and claim you should be able to because the state allows it. And it doesn't matter if the local clerk gets on stand and has no idea what the state limit is.
