The pods I have seen have done a good job of maintaining regional integrity and traditional rivalries. I don’t want these two refugees but if they come the pods can work.

I had a thread about this earlier, but will the SEC championship game really matter? Or will it be like the SEC tournament winner in basketball, just a regular season champ? There is a big chance the NC might not be the SEC champ in a given year with 4 SEC teams in the playoffs, who gets more clout then?

Just laid one out earlier yesterday. Southeastern States in one division. South Midwestern States in the other division. If you draw a line in the middle you get the idea who is on one side and who is on the other side. it is the best I have seen and there are like 4 top team on each division and that makes a lot of sense to do just that. More balance from top to bottom. Then you have one division close to all the others. Then you have the other division the same thing. pretty good set up. Makes a lot of sense. There are other people who have said the same thing.

Remember when LSU was forced into playing y'all on Thanksgiving? I remember. I also remember being forced into a rivalry with Arkansas. Can't say I feel too sorry for ya.

I know Aggy, LSU, OU, and Texas all want to play each other and all. We'll oblige.
This is CLEARLY the best pod idea.
Or we could go North pod and do Kentucky, Vandy, Mizzou and Arkansas.

You need to stay on the course with Mizzou! No reason to jump way out east to get one school there. Idea to work with ones near by and that is best for all to be close by and good for traveling. Not have to take an airplane every time to go to a game! That is why most experts came with what I have. Not the other way around or just cherry pick teams for each one.
