The spin that attempts to portray Sankey as the bitch and Lane as the alpha in this drama is maybe the most moronic thing I have ever seen in college football. It's astonishing what LSU fans can convince themselves of!

Liz called it from Day 1. She said this suit was "legal garbage" and a "made up thing". She said the SEC can't sue the State of Louisiana in federal court and LSU is an arm of the state. She predicted the case would disappear before a hearing or be thrown out and that is what happened.

Now Sankey has exposed the SEC to a legal action that could include an anti trust claim. Do you think Drew Rosenhaus is going to let his clients get screwed. He manages a 10 billion dollar talent company. This is over for LSU but just beginning for the SEC.

I mean you do have to hand it to the SEC… they somehow made Lane Kiffin - one of the most disliked coaches in sports - a martyr here. Kind of amazing when you think about it. LSU got millions in free publicity over this relatively minor-in-the-grand-scheme situation.
