I knew there were some losers on this board, but I didn't realize there was such a strong contingency in favor of being a useless Twitter gremlin.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Most of them probably weigh more than Sam does.

I would say most of the bashing is from fans of other schools and and a smaller percentage are real hog fans.

Could be, but you guys were pretty tough on him after BYU.

On one hand I feel sorry for him and fundamentally agree with him.

On the other hand, you’re an SEC head coach and make millions… suck it up. Like it or not, you’ve got to have twitter and a social media presence. Just let someone else handle it. And most certainly don’t read the negative stuff.

Good for him. Me and my wife do not get on any social site, not even for family. Never.

at the very least, get a script and start lifting during the day when the strength coaches lift and eat with the team and only what you are told to eat...frick not that hard to not be 300lbs.

Imagine having access to one of the best fitness centers money can buy, at the place you work, and nutritionists, etc, and also making millions of dollars per year.

I'd like to think I could manage to not be a hambeast.

Here’s another question about social media and mental health that I thought was good.

I get frustrated with the losses, but damn quit with the personal attacks. Pittman is a person and doesn’t deserve to be personally insulted and attacked. I’m sorry, Sam.

You don't have to post or read if you don't want to.

Not attacking him personally but his coaching did deserve criticism for dropping a winnable game at home.

And he stated this... criticize their coaching all you want but personal attacks on them or the kids are going WAY overboard. What's the point in that? Does that make these grown men feel like bad asses? They couldn't cut it in his shoes...hell, the student athletes either.

However, he's talking to a fanbase that torched a former QBs vehicle... good luck with that, Coach.
