I was at the Texas AZ State game and Leavitt looked really good against a very strong Texas defense. Several times they brought the house and somehow Leavitt was able to either complete a pass or scramble for good yardage. Care less about the QBR, he def passed the eye test. Stats to a degree are useful, but it’s more complicated than just the

That game was 90% skattebo heroics

If any other school had gotten him, LSU would be laughing their heads off about how trash that guy is. He had the worst stats in the worst conference

Why is an Ole Miss fan starting a random thread about our QB? Odd

That's kind of misleading2. This guy is a quality QB that has 20 starts under his belt in the last 2 years and has completed less than 55% of his passes in only 4 of those games. That means that in 80% of his starts, he's completed over 55%.

Those were high performing defenses that held him to those numbers.

2024 vs MSU - 10/20 - 69 yards with 0 Tds and 0 Ints
2024 vs Texas - 24/46 - 222 yards with 0 TDs and 1 Int
2025 vs MSU - 10/22 - 82 yards with 1 TD and 2 Ints
2025 vs Houston - 18/35 - 270 yards with 1 TD and 0 Ints

These were high performing defenses. To compare his performance vs what they averaged.

2024 vs MSU - He was only 20% below what they allowed for opponents completion percentage and only 170 yards below what they averaged giving up per game. They also only averaged giving up 2 more passing TDs than he had.

2024 vs Texas - He was only 8% below what they allowed for opponents completion percentage and was actually 50 yards above what they averaged giving up per game. They only averaged giving up 1 more passing TD than he had.

2025 vs MSU - He was only 15% below what they allowed for opponents completion percentage and was only 150 yards below what they averaged giving up per game. They also only averaged giving up 1 more passing TD than he had...but he did have 1 more Interception than they averaged...so there is that.

2025 vs Houston - He was only 9% below what they allowed for opponents completion percentage but had 52 yards more than what they averaged giving up per game. He was right at their average of TDs given up per game.

See...you were making it look like he was horrible against these teams...when in fact, he was only consistently far below average.

Who cares?
It's not like Kiffin have ever taken a nobody nothing from some backwater Div II program and turned them into a star. Oh wait....

A hell of a lot of P5 programs, including the one that whipped your runt arse, were sure trying to land him.

I know you and your Rebel brethren have an inferiority complex and beg for attention but come on, do better with your trolling.

Remember, you have the electric, charismatic Pete "Booger" Golding to lead you into a new era of futility, and reclaiming your status as Runts.

Damn..he is very bad. Remember when LSU expected their QBs to be good? Now they want very bad. Ours sucks too but we are not happy or bragging like LSU fans. It is as sad as a guy letting his wife see another straight guy often at night and buy the bullshite that they are "just friends"
