Wouldn’t count on it just yet. He’s projected 4-6 round right now. If he comes and play 1 year for Huepel and has a Hooker type year then he goes 1st or 2nd round.

Might be good move. The QB class looks really bad this draft though.

Can he throw the deep ball as well as Hooker?

If Mel Kiper is right then we all gonna be shocked lol. Kipper has Levi’s the 1st QB off the board. Also has Anotheny Richardson on top 15 in 1st round. Has hooker the 5th best QB in the draft. Hartmann this year not better than Hooker.

Why would we want Hartman? Someone compared the stats when that rumor came up and Milton's are better. I don't think Hartman is going to want to transfer to at best be in a QB battle where he has to learn an entirely new system for one year of play.

We need QB depth due to injuries but this just doesn't make a ton of sense. When we brought both Milton and Hooker in they each had several seasons to play. If we're going to bring a 1 year guy in he needs to be substantially better than what we have and he's not.

Milton is a good QB don’t get me wrong. But Hartman is more accurate than Milton and has better touch on his balls than Milton does. Athletically wise Milton is a monster. But passing wise Hartman is one of the top passers in the country.

I'm not sure that he is more accurate. Milton has overthrows (as does every other QB - Milton's arm makes his overthrows that much more obvious tho) but he and Hartman are both 60 percent QBs. They're pretty much neck and neck on the completion percentages.

Milton - 63 percent. Hartman - 62.5.

I think if we roll with Milton next year we lose a bunch of games. Really fast three and outs are going to be painful. And he really doesn't do anything well.

We need a Hooker. Good, fast decisions and mobile. Either that or we need to figure out this defense thing.

Joe Milton if this happens

I was told Joe Milton would win the Heisman in 2021.

He has Daniels over Hooker, maybe because of Hooker’s injury and age.

Heupel has showed he can take decent QB’s and turn them into All-Americans.

Any QB with a decent arm will be successful in Heupel’s system. All they do is drop back and go through their progressions with a very spread field, with a variety of passing lanes to work with. Problem comes when you face a good and quick defense that can initially cover receivers long enough for the d line to get to the QB (sound familiar?). Tennessee can get the low hanging fruit with this offense, but the best teams will be able to shut it down enough to outscore you. It’s a similar scenario to GA Tech gimmicky option offense. Once it’s gone through the seasonal cycle a couple of times, teams learn how to defend it.

All you did was display your lack of knowledge about our offense.

Who was the Wake kid that transferred to UGA for about 90 minutes before he decided to declare for the draft?

He opted out in 2020 because of Covid, then played for Rutgers or someone else in 2021.

Yeah, no.

That's not how any of that works.
