‘Member when ole miss put up 700+ yards on LSU’s defense?

Sage was one of those DBs that kept getting roasted

Would have been in the 3 deep if this was a normal LSU defense.

He might make the 3 deep next year.

You'll be amazed at how often he gets Moss'd by receivers and TE.

Never came anywhere close to living up to being a 5*

Probably coach this kid up and he will be drafted next year

Go for it then. Not sure why you’d ask our opinion and then refute it

Oh it’s even better. Sage was the DB that tried to strip the ball instead of making a sure tackle, and gave up an additional 20yds to the rebel’s WR.

I remember bama fans gloating about eli ricks leaving LSU for bama.... yet LSU didn't miss him.

Eli Ricks is playing in the NFL…. Tell me about all the NFL level cornerbacks LSU currently has on the roster. Why did you not play them this year?

I think Sage Ryan will end up developing and being really good. He hasn’t had any coaching since high school, but he has the physical tools.

Kept waiting on him for to break through.

He’s an abysmal tackler, and was constantly picked on in coverage.

Have spoken to multiple families with kids on his high school team. Every one, while they liked him as a person, could not understand why he was rated so high as a senior.

The high school rating system therefore was the failure.

I watched LSU play Florida State, Ole Miss, and Alabama this year. I think LSU’s secondary would have been better off just putting their four fastest athletic defensive players in the secondary and telling them “get the ball” instead of whatever it is the coaches actually did this year.

Yeah, it was absolutely sickening.

It's not just 1 thing that's wrong, or 2, or 3. There are just problems all over.

Curious if there are going to be staff changes. Somebody's gotta lose a job after the worst LSU defense in recorded history wasted the best offense in the country.
