Jeff Sagarin’s time honored system is probably closer to the truth of the matter than the playoff committee can make it

1 Ohio State
2 Notre Dame
3 Texas
4 Georgia
5 Mississippi
6 Oregon
7 Alabama
8 Penn State
9 Tennessee
10 Miami-Florida
11 SMU
12 South Carolina

Round One games - hypothetical :
12 USCe @ 5 Ole Miss
11 SMU @ 6 Oregon
10 Miami @ 7 Bama
9 Tennessee @ 8 Penn St

This is so bad too. WTF do you think is right about it. Also so happy they clarified Miami-Florida as to know he doesn’t mean OH

It factors in SOS and is more reflective of the strongest 12 in football than the 12 playoff teams will be

Oh now everyone's back on the Sagarin band-wagon. Why his computer has Alabama in the top 10 after the loss to Oklahoma, I'll never understand.

That computer loves Alabama for reasons I'll never understand. After the Cam-back game in 2010, it still had us around #4 or something.

You're not wrong but now I know why LSU fans have always hated Sagarin.

Except for 2011, it's never treated them very well.

Of the non SEC teams OSU and Oregon are most legit. ND looking better but jury is still out. PSU needs to show alot more

Proof that Sagrin adds his own opinion numbers before the seasons starts.

The Ole college football Randy Marsh equation. It's the only sport that tries to identify how good a team is based on talent alone and not on field results.

These joke ranking systems have so much bias starting off the season that Bama has to lose 4 games not to be considered a top 10 team.
