so many people taking the bait
guys do you really think Saban would interrupt anything in the middle of the season? the man is a obsessive compulsive maniac, and he's kind of a dick about it
if Texas is making a run at him, which they very well may and yes could actually succeed, they're going to have to do it at the end of the year when Nick Saban isn't in Napoleon mode with his football team
Mal Moore had to wait it out, Texas will have to wait it out
don't feed the trolls in the mean time
now back to the World Series DAMMIT I HATE THE CARDS BUT I ALSO DISLIKE THE RED SOX

Indeed...that or he'll have to validate his legacy some more because Alabama is Alabama and they've always won there.

Nice reading comp. Waving 101, proceed.
Please go read sabans contract, then come back to me. It's out there and public record. He only make a few hundred thousand from the university. The rest is subsidized by ads. While the university may be cutting checks for the millions, the school itself is not paying him that money.
This is similar to pretty much every major program.

These threads are hilarious... Saban IS NOT LEAVING Alabama!! Forgive me for bringin logic to the rant, but what could Texas offer him that Alabama cannot? Money? Power? Prestige? Please someone give me a rational, logical answe
Dude Texas is considered the best job in College Football by many experts.
Gumpville has tradition and winning and all of that..
But it isn't #1 in everything, sorry to burst your bubble

Yea, don't know if this true, nor did I read any of this post, but I'm just gonna say that I know for a fact that ms Terri is in the process of putting between 4-6 60+" Tvs in their tuscaloosa home. For some sort of game room. Soooo yea, I doubt they'd do that if they were leaving anytime soon.

No it didn't and specifically stated the price was not given.

You could be right, but it sure looks that way. Btw - this same site shows my paychecks this way - same sources, same category - and all of my salary comes from the state.

It's okay to acknowledge I am correct.

To be fair it says how much the home is worth on the front page...you'd have to think he got at least that out of it....

ok..either way my link was to the fact that the house sold. the dollar amount is irrelevant. Also from what i read he let a builder build a spec home on his lot so the builder is the one who had the most money tied up in the home.

Damn. I would love to have 2-3 months of that paycheck.

Saban just wants a house there so he can recruit from Texas more easily.

Damn are you that dense? You said Saban's rec would be good enough for you. That is why you would be good with KS and think he is a Saban clone. I told you Saban recommended Houston Nutt to be his successor at LSU. You think that was a great rec? Do you understand yet?

If Saban leaves Bama I promise you it won't be because of how much nicer Austin is.
It might be one important reason
Rumors have been that Terry is not a big fan of living in Alabama...
Saban wins for Alabama, gets the biggest job in Collge football and upgrades towns so the wife his happy.
Make 8.5 a year, ends up being the HC in history to win MNC at 3 different schools
you can bet that is the line of thinking
And Alabama and LSU fans won't hate him as much now either...
I can see it happening for these logical reasons
