I want to play this game too:
The loss on January 9th was really more about what LSU didn't do rather than what Alabama did do. I mean just look back on several key things in that game.
Jordan Jefferson fumbled a few snaps which botched potentially game changing plays.
There were a few false start penalties that took 3rd and short and made them 3rd and long.
Jordan Jefferson missed Rueben Randle and OBJ streaking down the middle of the field multiple times.
Jordan Jefferson threw a costly interception trying to get the ball to Spencer Ware.
Alex Hurst didn't play well and regularly allowed his man to get past him.

You do realize that he is huge on the "concentrate on what you do" thing, right?
He should practice what he preaches.

I keep telling them we were better and we'll show them this season. They just don't believe me.

I think what he said was pretty much proven on 1/9.. Alabama didn't play as well as they could have the first game, and they knew it. LSU did their best in each game, Bama just stepped it up..

However, getting an Alashama Mulligumpneck to believe the above is like saying Obama is going to balance the budget tomorrow.
They are the only team. The other team on the field doesn't exist, thus they can't make any errors.
Only the Bama turning points, and what-if's and missed FGs and coulda-woulda-shoulda's and missed opportunities count. Not the other teams. Bama should just say they play A I R every week. Nothing else exists in the universe....

Damn, he looks more presidential than Obama.

Just how did they do that ?
Outgained us by a substantial amount. Set up several more scoring chances than we had. That game was lost on their kickers foot. Everyone of the field goals that kid missed were kicks that could have been made, and I am tired of hearing BS to the contrary. This fact does not take away from the great season we had. They were the better team last year. This year will be our year.
That is idiotic and you need to stop posting. Sorry. I don't normally call people names here, but Alabama outgained LSU by around 50 yards. When you factor in our special teams dominance (part of the game, remember?), we actually did better in regard to field position.
You have bought into the Alabama hype that saw Richardson break a few runs and forgot about all the plays for negative yardage. Those count too, ya know?
Alabama dominated in their own minds because they could not handle the fact that they LOST AT HOME to what they thought was an inferior team. Then, they whined their way into the championship game where all of the intangibles were in their favor and they had the psychological edge. Apart from Richardson's garbage time TD after LSU's defense was exhausted, Alabama STILL could not score a touchdown against LSU. If LSU had any semblance of an offense that game (I place full blame on Jordan Jefferson), LSU would have made that a close game and could have won it.
I don't believe half of what I write here. I'm just overreacting for the heck of it. Carry on.

Did it on purpose. You have never heard that one?
