The SEC office always has the best interest of its members in mind. Previous commissioner saved Auburns arse from the NCAA gas chamber in the Cam Newton deal.

I mean we’re just going to have to agree to disagree here bc I just don’t believe these types of things should be part of the SEC commish’s powers

5 year long investigation and the only thing they could find is Tunsil's step-dad took money.

But yeah feel free to post any of the findings regarding the "great players" that he cheated to get.

and fwiw I think it's stupid for the SEC to block Freeze from holding any sort of position within the conference. Dude can flat out coach.

All the interest in Freeze shows that the guy knows what he’s doing. Sucks for him that hes got these demons

It probably wasn't some power he enforced. More like he didn't want it to happen and Saban was smarter than to try and piss him off by moving forward despite the disapproval.

Bama could probably pull an Ole Miss and just hire him and say "we got lawyers, come at us," but that never ends well.

Yep. Personally.....I really don't care when he does in his spare time so long as it isn't like Petrino case where he gave his slam-piece a state-paid job. Same goes for politicians.

Sankey gave him an either or. If you do that, we will have to take away all of the Bama refs. Saban passed.

I was hoping UGA would get him after Chaney's 2016 season here.

SEC by-laws that give the commissioner final say over a hire of an individual whose actions resulted in disciplinary action at another school. The Commissioner has to sign off in that situation and has the authority to reject it.

Never knew this was a by-law. Wasn't there some talk of schools looking at Briles a few years ago? I wonder if the commissioner killed that and it just didn't get as much publicity.

Also, does this include minor infractions? I'm wondering if the commissioner had to sign off on Pearl at Auburn? I know it didn't amount to much but wasn't that a disciplinary action taken by UT?

Yes, he did recruit well and he had some potent offenses...

The man had a losing record to the worst coach to last 5 years at Arkansas. During one of the most dismal stretches for Arkansas football of all time, he found a way to lose to us.

Maybe not just his behavior in recruiting players was toxic.

Is Freeze really a good offensive mind?

He lost to Bielema 3 years in a row.

means nothing if you don't win something substantial.... which the Razorbacks kept Freeze from doing:

Greatest gif ever:

In 2016 ol machine gun Kelly was pumped....

till he got popped

But it wasn't a Freeze thing.... more like an Ole Miss thing. Coach Hodor gave one of our worst teams of all time the ability to make history with biggest come from behind win for a Razorback football team.

2017: Froholdt destroyed a land shart in the process:

I didn't say that it did mean anything. Just that basing a coach on how he played against one particular team is pretty useless.

He wasn't as good as beating Saban twice made it seem. He also wasn't nearly as bad as losing to Arkansas made it seem.

Also the fact that you spent all that time putting together a massive gif post is .

I hate Ole Miss.... and it's a bunch of Arkansans that caused that hate.

long story short - I have family in east Arkansas who bandwagon from team to team (Arkansas and Ole Miss) depending on which team is doing better. They have zero connection to either program. They aren't alumni and they have never attended a game at either campus. They are just bandwagon fans that I have to occasionally deal with - so I have a nice little bundle of hate saved up for the rebels.
