Textbook narcissist move: Step 1: identify desperate mark Step 2: look for whatever their insecurities are and build them up Step 3: leverage those insecurities against the mark to get whatever you want Step 4: tweak the messaging up and down as needed to maintain parasitic relationship and avoid accountability while isolating them from their peers to better control them Step 4: discard when discovered or no longer beneficial and move on to new host It’s so obvious, they have multiple other schools telling them what’s going on and yet an entire fanbase is not only onboard but manically excited for the hustle. I wish both them all the best.
Looooooook at all these mental gymnastics.
Gumps really struggling.

As an LSU fan, I don’t agree. I think it’s a Top 5 job, but not the very best #1 job. That’s okay though, because Top 5 can get you trophies.
Quite a power move for LSU to pull 2, 11-1 coaches who left to ditch a CFP run (really didn’t though, he wanted to finish the CFP, but AD Carter’s ego got in the way), and BK, a national championship appearance coach ALL THE WHILE BEING 6-6 AND 7-5 IN THAT SEASON lol. That’s a 10 incher, monstrous power move.

The best concentration of athlete I've ever seen - ever - is Louisiana and South Mississippi.
They are predominately black. With a unique combination of speed and size. It is what it is.
Can LSU keep the all in NIL ? We will find out.

He said “I’m not going to say what he said because he coached at another school”. With that inference, we can at the very least confidently say he said it’s a better job than Alabama.
He’s also said Georgia is the best job in the SEC at one point.
No reason to take either as a slight. Georgia is a deeper in-state talent pool. LSU has no in-state competition.
All the rest of the comparisons are subjective.

“You never know how people do, but I think he’ll do fine,” Saban told Dennis Dodd of CBSSports.com. “Personally, Georgia, if it’s not the best job in the conference, it certainly should be.”
LSU and Georgia are big time SEC programs with history and tradition that don't have anybody in state to worry about and are in states with tons and tons of ballplayers. Makes sense. The best natural resource jobs in the country along with Ohio State and probably Texas.

They've tried their best to do it internally the last 5 years.

Saban has been retired two years and LSU fans are still the jealous ex girlfriend that can't get over their ex marrying someone hotter and more successful.
It’s really kind of funny that Alabama in a large way owes its dynasty in large part to Les Miles. If Les hadn’t done a phenomenal job navigating Katrina in his first year with 11 wins and then winning 11 games in his second year, Nick likely would never have been Alabama’s head coach. But when he knew he was leaving the Dolphins and he was told the LSU job wasn’t available, he moved on. And the rest is history.

And currently, Saban thinks LSU is the best CFB job in the country.
No reason at all for Gumps to get all bent out of shape over it, but here y’all are trying to spin and contextualize to save your own egos.
