Desperation has permeated this entire board. It is like we have fallen into an alternate universe where the season has ended.

It can still happen. U of Texas needs to find the money and pay the man. Perhaps the TAF can chip in.

Then stop spreading it

Nick Saban going to Texas would get him out of Alabama

So now he would have direct pipelines in Texas, Alabama and Louisiana

This is a dream scenario for LSU fans.

Negative. My dream is for Saban to stay at bama and we whip that arse. He leaves bama now and he would have beaten us the last time that we played them. Plus, my hatred of bama would die down and I can't have that shite.

You're fricking retarded. You think Saban has power at UA? What happens when someone like him is lord over the most fertile recruiting state in the nation, at the destination school within that state?

If you think that means good things for LSU then I have a bridge to sell you.

I really don't give a damn. It'll give me more pleasure to watch him go down at Bama, and it starts this year.

Only reason I entertain the questions is that it's fun seeing Bama fans squirm at the thought of him leaving.

To add further insult, the rest of the Big12 is a joke now that Aggie is gone, and he wouldn't even have to be tested in a title game. You think the SEC is giving Bama a scheduling advantage? The Big12 will need two mouths to suck UT off enough once it's obvious Saban is their ticket back to relevance.

ETA: At least in the SEC Saban has to win the SECCG (most years) to get to the ship, giving him a few chances at losing in a league with more parity.

I dont want $abun in Texas. I think it would harm LSU's recruiting much worse in Texas than he ever could in bama.

What i do want to see is for $exton and $abun extort the gumps for 10-15+million a year. That would make my day.

The conference's reputation would diminish. I know Alabama hasn't carried this conference alone, but their success accounts for I'd say 1/3 of the SEC's image. Furthermore, LSU would have to deal with potentially better Ole Miss and Florida squads next season. Ole Miss plays LSU much tougher in Death Valley, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win there next year if their team delivers. LSU's strength of schedule and reputation would take a hit because no one would and could replicate Alabama.

Even if he did leave, which I doubt he will, (but he said he's staying so bye bye), Bama is an elite program that can get anyone pro or college that it wants. They will only be down a year if that long.
