He definitely is not a fan of portal and nil recruiting
He used to get all those players, now he has competition and players can leave bama if they aren't playing
Even bringing in players hasn't necessarily worked
He brought in Ricks, Burton, and Gibbs last year and no playoffs

Burton, Key and Amos (not to mention Marshall) have all been huge reasons why we are where we are this season. Burton has made plays all year long. Key has been a steady player and Amos stepped in when Kool-Aid got hurt against UGA and played fantastic.

2. He purchased a big home in South Florida I believe last off-season.
Yes, but he's had a house in Florida since at least 2015: AL.com article.
It's not uncommon for wealthy people to own multiple homes.

3. He purchased a new Mercedes business in South Florida over the summer I think.
Dream Motor Group owns dealerships in Baton Rouge, LA, The Woodlands, TX, two in Nashville, TN, three in AL, and now two in FL.
Did you think he was retiring when he bought dealerships in LA, TX, and TN? He's a part owner in a dealership group. Nothing unusual about that group buying dealerships in FL.

4. The above two items suggest he could be lining some stuff up for a move to the beach in retirement from coaching.
Or he's, ya know, investing his money like a wealthy person normally would?
ETA: He might eventually retire to FL, but I don't see any of the things mentioned as signs that his retirement is imminent (i.e., at the end of this season).

People keep saying this as if he isn’t utilizing these things. Alabama is still recruiting very well. They’ve added pieces through the portal in the last few years (Jermaine Burton, Jameson Williams, Tyler Steen, Jahmyr Gibbs, Malik Benson, Tre Amos, Jalen Key among others).

A team that went 11-2, lost two games by a total of 4 points (both on the last play of the game), and finished in the top five nationally in the final rankings of the season is considered "not working." I mean I guess by the standard he's set, that is true, but it's also comical when that's the example being used for support.

Fair points. I've never "thought" he was retiring. I'm only saying if he did it wouldn't surprise me for a number of reasons.

Oh, I forgot the Bond reception before halftime that wasn't a reception that they didn't show us wasn't a reception until after the first half was over. I'm just saying a lot went in Bama's favor to win.

But, that 11-2 team had a QB who could read a defense. Now, we have a sandlot QB and we're world beaters?

No, you quite literally said you thought Kirby laid down for Saban.

Of course - I mean Saban's staff is terrible and Georgia's is awesome, Beck is a superstar and Milroe is a running back, Alabama got lucky against everyone they played this season, etc. Clearly, when you see the world in that way, the only way Alabama beat Georgia is due to Georgia's coach allowing Alabama to win by quite literally throwing the game.
Very reasonable. Clearly you are the one on the right side of this and all your other arguments.

Just say you want Nick Saban to leave and be done with it. No need to keep dancing around your true feelings.

It's almost like there's more to a team than just the quarterback. Of course you're a simp so you don't realize that. Then again UAC never focuses on any other spot, and that's obviously where you get your expertise, so it makes sense.

I could swear Kirby laid down to make sure Saban won.
Coaches don't lay down for other coaches. Even if it's their brother or father on the other sideline. And to think that Kirby Smart would is just ridiculous. If he had won the NC this year he would have 3 and, with him not even being 50 years old I could see him breaking Saban's record one day. So he decided to throw all of that away just to be nice and let the old man have one more. You must be trolling because nobody is dumb enough to believe this.
Edit: Nevermind. I just realized you're an LSU fan posing as a Bama fan. So you're definitely trolling.

I'm telling you that UGA, SEC Championship game was strange. The lack of emotion from either coach and the players was strange. It looked like an NFL game afterwards. And, Bobo's play calling was terrible. I could swear Kirby laid down to make sure Saban won.
Not sure where you saw this. I was at the game and Saban was as intense as it gets getting in players faces a couple times. Mad as hell after one timeout. Kirby was his usually antimated self. That place was electric as I've ever seen it. BTW, who are you REALLY a fan of?
