He isn't retarded. But he isn't smart and he is exceptionally lazy and dishonest.

He couldn't do what I do for a living. He isn't smart enough nor does he have the work ethic.

He couldn't succeed in a blue collar field either. Two lazy.

He became president due to name recognition, timing (sort of a backlash towards obama), and others sculpting his nationalistic rhetoric to appeal to the masses (o'bannon, roger stone, Steve Miller, etc).

How so? Explain that statement to me.

Shame on people for being proud to be an American.

I guess a pathetic alternative in Hillary Rodham Clinton wasn't a reason people voted for Trump, either, was it?

Tell me how trump has made us stronger as a nation then.

It was all hot air, ie meaningless rhetoric. The less educated did fall for it though.

If you don't understand my statement, then I seriously doubt your job description. I have a number of acquaintances who are CPAs and attorneys, and with FEW exceptions, they're big govt. democrats....Hint: more govt = more bureaucracy= more rules and regulations=need for more lawyers and CPAs= more business=more fees...do we need to go further?
Besides, the content of your posts doesn't really depict you as a mature and rational professional individual...sorry.

A disturbing amount of not very smart people evidently thought Hillary would have made a good president. That woman is rotten to the core. Absolutely devoid of any moral compass.

not at all. But I think most Republicans will concede that. There is silence on the other side.

I'm not sure they would. If the majority believed that, then they didn't help nominate a better candidate.

Believe what you will, don't care.

Couple of quick facts for you though then I'm done with lunch and back to work.

1. The recent tax legislation has me busier than ever. Do some research on section 965 and the new toll charge and the fact I do international tax, then you will understand. I have more work now than I would if trump had lost. Fyi, that does not make me happy. I've had more work than I want for a decade.

2. My big paper (like a thesis) in grad school was would the US ever go to a flat tax. The answer was and is a definitive no. Tax laws get more complex and more of them under each and every administration period. Cept maybe Obama. He was pretty status quo on everything.

3. Voting with my wallet has me voting Dem now, you are correct on that. I'm already in a high tax bracket and my salary goes up every year. By cutting corporate taxes today and stacking trillions more on the debt, all the GOP and trump did was assure larger individual tax increases sooner rather than later. Sure, I got about a 6k tax cut on my salaried income this year. And I will be paying back twice that in a couple of years with interest when individual tax rates get hiked even more very soon. Book that.

Well....I certainly do. But when you live in a world where the Kardashians, Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton command headlines and attention, well.....let's face it. Way too many people give weight to the opinions of those who should not matter.

And as long as athletes and entertainers try to par;ay their popularity and fame into persuasive discourse, then I can discount them and strike back with where my dollars go.

Kinda weird, since one is president and one will never be.

Strange how relevance works.

I'm calling BS

You've made these claims, yet you have the grammar and sentence structure of someone running a hotdog stand. Good for you if I'm wrong
