Trump did do a good job up talking up Clemson's team when they went a summer ago.

Seemed like he did it all from memory too.

But he is OUR idiot. I can't wait until Bama goes back to the White House next year.

Well, Saban is a Dem, so what statement is he making by going, exactly?

That you are paying respects to the office, not the individual holding it.

Exactly. There isn't much to respect about trump, but he won't be there much longer and the tarnish he has put on the office will be wiped away quickly.

It is an experience and a trip worth making. You don't have to respect the current occupant to go and have the experience.

Move this to the PT board. This has been said about every President since Eisenhower.

I'm banned from the poliboard.

Criticism of trump is not tolerated if you make too many intelligent points too often.

They get very upset very easily over there. Bunch of snowflakes.

As you have yet to provide any here, I highly doubt that.

that's probably got more to do with fact I don't have any experience or knowledge of football coaching and I don't want to be a football coach.

Dabo didn't force players to go to White House and he's won a few ball games.

There are a bunch of disciplinarian football coaches who haven't won much.

From my standpoint, I wouldn't want to deal with a bunch of disgruntled kids up in DC for what should be a good time. I'd rather they stay back.

Well said.

Teams visiting the WH is a tradition that goes back over 100+ years.
It isn’t about Trump.
And it isn’t about partisan politics.
It’s about recognizing a team’s championship.
It’s unfortunate that some adults behave like juveniles over something that’s intended to be a celebration.

Where were all you perfectionists when Dumb arse Obama was in the white House? For all you damn liberals, tell us what Obama did that was better than Trump. Did he support our military, Hell No. Did he improve health care, Hell no. Tell us about his great accomplishments. Go ahead and tell us about Trumps infidelity. how about Bill Clinton? I know, he was such a great family man. The sleazzzzy arse Hillary should be in prison for all her crimes. Take off the blinders all you liberals. The biggest problem with Trump is he won't keep his mouth shut. This country is so divided its scary. At the very least Trump supports our military.
